Keyboard works but mouse is not properly supported on Android — mouse movement behaves like touchscreen dragging in Survivalcraft 2.4 multiplayer

Title

Mouse input not properly supported on Android (keyboard works, mouse does not)

Content

Hello developer,

We are playing Survivalcraft 2.4 multiplayer and recently started using keyboard and mouse because touch controls are difficult.

The keyboard works correctly, but the mouse is not properly supported:

Camera movement requires holding the mouse button, instead of normal mouse movement

Mouse movement behaves like dragging the touchscreen

Attack and place actions work, but looking around feels unnatural

Overall, the mouse is treated as touch input rather than true mouse input

We hope proper mouse support can be added, such as:

Free mouse movement to control camera

Separate mouse button mapping (left/right click)

Native keyboard + mouse gameplay on Android

Thank you for your work, and we hope you can consider improving mouse support.

Hi, and welcome to the forum!

Just to clarify, this is a community-run forum and not an official support channel. We’re not affiliated with Kaalus (the developer), so we can’t make changes to the game directly.

That said, the good news is that Kaalus appears to have already addressed Android mouse support. A bugfix update (version 2.4.xx.8) was released on Google Play that specifically improves mouse handling. You can read about it on his blog

I also tested mouse input on 2.3.10.8 on my Pixel and it’s working fine on my end, so it may be device-specific or tied to your current version. If you’re not on the latest update, it’s worth trying that first. If problems persist after updating, feel free to share more details here and the community may be able to help further
