You feel I have a crucial lack of variety in agricultural foods that this game is missing, and which would make so much sense to add. The game only has a few varieties of plant-based food; just pumpkin, and flaxseed, which you use to make flour for dough to produce bread. And the game has undergone several updates, but it has never had another crop in the game =\
So here’s the thing; I imagined the following things that could be added, or at least some of them, which would be crucial—disregard the “macaxeira” aipim, because I’m Brazilian xD. But feel free to read and give your opinion.
I would love to see an expansion of the food and cooking system in Survivalcraft.
Some simple additions would already make a huge difference: new crops like maize, potato, carrot, beetroot, cassava, and watermelon; wild fruits and fruit trees; as well as utensils like rustic pots and bowls (instead of having to use just a bucket to make a pumpkin stew. A pot or another utensil would make more sense and look nicer. It would also be really cool to have more recipes, stews, and more varieties of cooked vegetables and even hunts of animals that we kill, such as bird stew, wild boar meat, cattle, etc. Since the character can get bored eating the same things all the time, more variety would make agriculture, exploration, and cooking much more interesting.
I know that developing an indie game, possibly by just one person, is nothing easy, but none of this would need to change the essence of the game—it would just be an expansion of the systems that already exist. And the Seasons system was a great evolution in the game, and I believe Kaalus has the potential to do more and more, albeit slowly. But if he could hire more people to help him with the game, this game would have a larger audience. It still has potential. It is a super fun and unique game. But it needs improvements, new things.
